Longacre_Nikki_Keith_2

Nikki's equine career began on Christmas day when she received her first horse at the age of 7.  She began her show career competing in open AQHA competition, showing in halter, western pleasure, reining and barrel racing. During her teen years, she competed in many IPRA rodeos with many barrel racing championships to her credit. Nikki began training professionally in 1980 and holds judges cards with APHA, NSBA and PHBA.  She has been selected to officiate at several world championship horse shows since becoming a judge in 1996. She is a member of the AQHA Professional Horsemen's Association and Sundowner Trailers Pro Staff.  Nikki has served in several leadership roles as a member of Executive Boards, Board of Directors and numerous committees with the horse industry.

Keith began a lifelong career in the horse industry as a young boy tagging along with his father Charles on a breeding farm and feedlot operation for past AQHA President Leo Winters.  Keith was a champion tie down roper during his teen and early adult years.  At the close of his rodeo career he began showing horses in halter, western pleasure and roping events at various breed shows.  Keith holds judging credentials with the American Quarter Horse Association, American Paint Horse Association, Appaloosa Horse Club, National Snaffle Bit Association, Palomino Horse Breeders of America and Pinto Horse Association of America.  He has been chosen to judge many world championship horse shows.  Keith is a member of the AQHA Professional Horsemen's Association and Sundowner Trailers ProStaff.

Our Focus

The Longacres focus on fitting and training champion halter horses for futurities, world shows and all levels of breed show competition.  They also prepare halter horses and amateur exhibitors for competition.  Keith & Nikki enjoy developing good horses into winners and watching the amateurs achieve success with those horses.
